AMSSA is an affiliation of Member Agencies providing immigrant settlement and multicultural services in communities throughout British Columbia. AMSSA acts as a centralized resource for Members working in both large urban areas and smaller centres. AMSSA's educational initiatives provide business, government, and the general public with professional, accurate, and detailed information about current issues in multiculturalism, immigration, and human rights. AMSSA creates networking opportunities, disseminates information, provides professional development, and builds organizational capacities for Members.

Battered Women’s Support Services
A determined group of women started Battered Women's Support Services in 1979. Over the years, BWSS has grown into a strong and dynamic organization. BWSS continues to provide support and advocacy for women who have experienced abuse, as well as, training and education about violence against women.

The BC Centre for Elder Advocacy and Support is a non profit organization dedicated to assisting older adults. We operate a toll free Seniors Information and Helpline that provides information and referrals, and a legal clinic that provides legal advice, advocacy and limited legal representation. A primary goal of our program is to prevent and end elder abuse.We believe that all seniors in B.C. have the right to live with dignity, safe from abuse of any kind.
