We Can campaign relies heavily on the skills and enthusiasm of its volunteers. There are many ways you can utilize your talents while helping to end violence against women.

There are a variety of festivals and events that take place in the Lower Mainland and elsewhere, especially during the summer months.
They offer an opportunity to provide information about We Can BC and talk with others, who like you, want to end violence against women.
You do not have to attend all the events, rather lets us know what events you are interested in.
Summer (or longer) Outreach Events Coordinator: Search for suitable events, festivals, conferences etc. where We Can BC can facilitate a workshop, host an information display or both. Allocate resources (both people and display materials) and register for the event.
Summer (or longer) Events on-Site Volunteer: With an experienced Out Reach volunteer attend events, set up the display, hand out materials and answer the questions of those who stop by.
Workshop Facilitator/Coordinator
We Can BC is delivering workshops to different groups on an on-going basis. If you have experience facilitating we would gladly welcome you to our team and will provide additional training. As coordinator you would also be expected to also arrange workshop logistics, research and gather material, handouts for a specific workshop.

Social Media Content Advisor: Help us keep our media current and relevant. As Advisor you would help post current news, blog posts, statistics, video clips, actions etc to our social media and assist with finding and reviewing various links related to our facebook page.
Social Media Consultant: Be a virtual volunteer and use your marketing and social media skills to be part of creating a social movement to end violence. Provide consultations, developments, recommendations and formulate an action plan.
Web Site Coordinator: Currently a major facet of our campaign is providing information and materials through our web site. As coordinator you would post and/or amend material to the site and periodically review links to ensure accuracy.
News Letter Coordinator: Sent 4 times a year the We Can BC News Letter is an integral part of maintain contact with Change Makers, offering them an update on the campaign, resources and various events around the province they might be interested in. As Coordinator you would be responsible for creating and collating material, designing and sending out the News Letter.
Event and Fundraising Assistant: From time to time We Can BC holds its own event such as a Summer Forum, Fundraising Dinner and the Annual General Meeting. Volunteers are needed to assist in the planning coordination and implementation of the various low budget events. Share your ideas for feasible fundraisers or events that could be implemented.
Board Member: Engage in a variety of activities and responsibilities including financial management, publicly representing the organization, strategic planning and outcome evaluation.
