THE CAUSE Prevent It! is presented in support of We Can BC, a Vancouver based non-profit working to shift beliefs and attitudes surrounding violence against women - and in doing so, change behaviour and make our communities safer for everyone.
THE FILM With some jaw-dropping archival footage and featuring many Vancouver activists in it analysis, the film zeroes in on key concerns such as violence against women, access to abortion, and universal childcare. It asks provocative questions about the systemic issues that continue to put women at risk across the country every day.
